A delicious paleo alternative to Shepard’s Pie. Quick and easy to make and super yummy!
- 1.5lb Medium Ground Beef
- 3 Celery Stalks
- 3 med Carrots
- .5 Onion
- 2 cups Bone Broth
- 1 head Cauliflower
- Chives to taste (dried or fresh)
- 1 large Clove Garlic
- Salt and Pepper to taste
In a large stock pot boil bone broth with Cauliflower until completely absorbed by cauliflower. Reserve 1/4 c broth for later.
Once cooked blend cauliflower in food processor until smooth. Add chives, salt and pepper and set aside for later.
Sautée veggies, garlic and onions in coconut oil until tender, set aside. Cook beef until browned completely.
In a large bowl mix beef and veggie mix with reserved bone broth with 1 tsp plain gelatin. Stir to coat.
Transfer mixture to a 8×8 glass pan, spread « faux-tatos » over top then bake for about an hour or until top starts to brown.
